Dimitrova & Partners Law Firm (hereinafter DPLF) is registered as personal data administrator under No 29787 in the Register of Personal Data Administrators kept by the Commission for Personal Data Protection. DPLF applies all standards for personal data protection, required by Directive 95/46/EC and the Personal Data Protection Act.

In order to secure the maintenance of the Site and to facilitate and improve navigation within the Site, DPLF uses “cookies” (small text files, which are copied on the user’s computer, when the user accesses the Site for the first time, and thereafter are stored in the user’s browser) or web beacons (electronic images, which enable the Site to count the users who have accessed a particular page, and give access to particular cookies).

By means of the above files DPLF receives only information of statistical nature on the number of users of the Site, the domain and the IP address from which the Site was accessed, the date and hour of the access. In this way the route to the device or resource from which the Site is accessed is followed, but no identifying information is received for the particular user like his name and e-mail address. DPLF may use such files for tracking information which identifies the types of users by indicators as IP address, domain, browser type and pages visited. This information is used to analyze the number of users in the different areas of the Site and to ensure that the Site serves as useful and effective source of information. Most internet browsers allow their users to reject cookies. But in specific circumstances the users may be denied access to some parts of the Site if their browsers are set to reject cookies.

The user is not bound to provide personal information in order to use the Site. The Site provides an option, which enables the user to submit an inquiry on a specific issue or to subscribe for receiving the materials published in Section Publications. In this case the collected information refers only to data, which enables DPLF to contact the user in order to respond to the questions raised by him, or which enables the materials to be sent to the user. If the user decides to register and provide personal information in order to use the services accessible through the Site, the user agrees the data provided by him to be used in compliance with the provided on the Site for the respective service. DPLF may summarize this information for the purpose of improving the quality of the services provided by DPLF, as well as of the efficiency of the Site as source of information.

DPLF agrees that the information contained in a specific inquiry of the user is confidential and will keep its confidentiality in compliance with its established rules and procedures and with the applicable legislation.

Personal data of the user will not be provided to third parties save if DPLF is bound to do so by virtue of the law or by order of a competent state body.

The user is entitled to request information about his personal data processed by DPLF, about the purposes, for which the data is processed, about the recipients, to which this data is disclosed, as well as about the source of the data. The user is entitled at any time to request by DPLF to erase, correct or block his personal data, the processing of which is performed in violation of the Personal Data Protection Act, as well as to request that DPLF notifies the third parties to which the user’s personal data was disclosed, for each erasure, correction or block of his data made due to inconsistence with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act, save in the cases when the latter is impossible or requires excessive efforts. The user is entitled to be notified before his data is disclosed to third parties.
