Professional experience:
Damyan focuses his professional development on corporate and commercial law, competition law and merger control as well as on sector-specific regulations. He is experienced both in performance of legal due diligence reviews and implementation of acquisitions and restructurings, and in the provision of services to major production and commercial enterprises in the areas of pharmaceuticals, production and distribution of foodstuffs, energy production, sustainable energy resources and telecommunications and their daily activity. Damyan has in-depth knowledge of the legislation and case-law in the field of protection of competition and the clients appreciate his advice and assistance for the compliance with the rules of fair competition and merger control. He was part of the default-payments collection team for one of the biggest telecommunications operators in the country, whereby the project included the complete spectrum of debt collection – from the establishment of the legal standing or identification of the debtor, via initiation of lawsuits to the undertaking of enforcement actions for the realization of the client’s rights. He participated in theoretical research projects upon assignment of the state administration for research and comparative legal analysis of the legislative framework on national and Community-level in the area of telecommunications.
